As we celebrate our 10th year in business, we want to share with you some interesting OLPRO facts and how we started out as a business to where we are today!
At OLPRO we provide exceptional outdoor leisure products for our adventurous customers all around the world. OLPRO began when we recognised that we were tired of seeing products which looked dull, outdated and didn’t bring excitement to camping, which is where we began our journey of creating products that feature bright and colourful designs that stand out from the crowd and bring life to your set up.
We have a great team of knowledgeable experts working at OLPRO who have a great passion for the outdoors and provide excellent service to ensure our customers have the best OLPRO experience. We’re passionate about our brand and what our brand means to people which is why we focus on creating a community with our customers that enables them to share their experiences about camping.
Over the years we have designed and created unique camping and outdoor products such as Melamine, Tents, Awnings and Windbreaks that stand out from all the rest. A lot of our innovative ideas have come from our customers and what they need and want for an easier and better experience. We are always talking to our customers, but we always listen more.
One of our most common questions at OLPRO is where are we based?
A lot of our customers see OLPRO products all across the world and often wonder where our office is based, but we are actually based in Worcestershire in the UK! We’re incredibly happy to be able to sell products that are known and loved all over the world and it’s great to see so many of our customers bonding over our products!
Another common question we get asked is where are OLPRO products sold?
At OLPRO we’re incredibly different to a lot of other camping companies. We’re an e-commerce business where you can find our full range of products on our website at www.olproshop.com. However we do also sell OLPRO products with our partners at Amazon, Argos, Halfords and the Range. Not all carry everything but we do this in order to make it easy to buy OLPRO products. The decision to do it was made so we can ensure you’re buying really godo quality camping equipment easily and at a great price.
We want our products to be accessible to everyone no matter where we are and being an e-commerce business has ensured that we can reach our customers globally as quickly as possible.
How did OLPRO win the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade?
We won the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade because we have been working hard to make our products more accessible to customers globally. We now sell to 29 different countries, 13 of those being new countries within the last 2 years. We have also worked hard to ensure our website is translatable into almost 100 languages! We’re working hard to ensure that OLPRO is well known and accessible to our customers across the globe!
How is OLPRO Sustainable?
As you can imagine, as outdoor enthusiasts the outdoors is vital part of what we do. We know how important it is to preserve and appreciate the outdoors as much as we can and in order to do that we know that we need to work hard as a company and with our customers to be sustainable and take care of the outdoors in which we love so much.
At OLPRO we are constantly thinking of ways in which we can be more sustainable in what we do, we currently have a range of biodegradable tableware called Husk. We also offer a Loan & Go Tent and Awning scheme allowing customers to loan a tent or awning to save on those one time use festival tents and plastic packaging!
In the year of 2021 we began our tree planting initiative in partnership with Ecologi where we plant a tree for every tent or awning sold through our website. We are incredibly proud to be able to contribute to such an amazing cause and help rebuild forests and work towards our company goal of becoming carbon neutral.
Do OLPRO attend Shows?
We attend as many shows as we can to not only showcase our products but to meet our customers! We love getting to talk to all of our customers, hear about their camping experiences and how they use their OLPRO products! We also love to hear our customer’s feedback and introduce them to new products that they might not have tried before!
As we start to get back into attending shows again post-Covid, we’re going to be attending as many as we can which will be announced over on our social media pages as well as on our website, so if you spot us at a show, come say hello!
